My sister-in-law and her family were in town a couple of weeks ago, and one day into evening, we gathered some of our close girlfriends for a girls-day/night-out. It was a blast and filled with all the things. We started by getting our nails done, with a bottle of champagne and then walked around the Plaza for a little shopping (like at Anthropologie, which is so good right now).
I happened to be wearing a new dress from Anthro, that was on a mannequin on display right at the front of the store. It's always a little embarrassing to be wearing an item that's on prominent display, but oh well! ;) After a bit of shopping, we went to happy hour at a near by restaurant for margaritas and appetizers.
From there, we left the Plaza area for Westport to have more drinks at Ça Va - a champagne bar - where we got to sit on the patio. It was so fun sitting outside, sipping Rosé and catching up with friends. It turned out to be a cocktail hopping day, and culminated in a long dinner and dessert at Brown & Loe. It was the perfect little day to night spent with some good friends.
