Summer work wear is the hardest for me to get right without looking frumpy or boring. It's hot outside, freezing around certain parts of the office and a bit warmer at my desk because I'm by some windows. It's all about light pieces with coverage and an easy tag-along layer for me.
I'm especially loving the wide leg cropped pant trend right now, because it's the perfect amount of coverage to keep the frost from the air conditioning at bay, while easy and breezy to let the heat out. And a lace top is the perfect shirt. It provides coverage but with longs of airy holes. :) When that's not warm enough, I always grab my denim jacket to keep on hand.

P.S. this purse is one of my Nordstrom half yearly sales purchases and it's the perfect everyday size and style. It's sold out right now across most sites, but found it here if you're interested! Here are a few similar ones, too: smaller version here, in cherry wood (on sale!), and shoulder version.
