Favorite Wears: Modern 90s Vibe
Back to the 90s! I'm loving the convergence of genres on the fashion scene this year. It's brings me a major sense of nostalgia, but also a fun challenge to update the style - so it's really a more modern 90s look! This jumper is perfect for work and play - easy to dress up in a more professional way, but also super fun for more casual looks.
I think back to the 90s and it doesn't feel like it should be that long ago. Feels like just yesterday... a mere 20 years ago I guess, and that makes my jaw drop! Where does the time go? I remember jamming out to Garth Brooks, Backstreet Boys, Hanson, Mariah Carey. I remember high school, where I was a competitive swimmer, and sleep overs with friends, where tee-peeing was the biggest (funnies) deal. I remember the anticipation of college and the future ahead.
It feels like it was yesterday. I blinked and I was in my 30s closer to 2020 than the 90s... I don't think I'll ever get over how daunting time feels. But for now, I'm going to kick it like it's 1990 again, even if it's just the clothes that look like it. ;)
