In honor of Mother's Day, I'm sharing my favorite kind of outfit, and one I think represents my life as a mother. This outfit is all about versatility, being ready for anything and thinking outside of the box, a little at least. And really, isn't that what motherhood is about? It's certainly not everything I thought it would be pre-children. It's definitely better in most ways, and harder in others. Not just harder because I'm always tired (seriously, motherhood might just be tied to sleep deprivation), but harder in the sense of the constant worry for their health, their well-being and their happiness.
Motherhood might also be tied to worry, too, and sometimes it's all consuming. So, I try to take each day one at a time, and find the sweet moments (and sometimes those moments are really short) in every day. And it helps to dress the part - be ready for anything and still feel like yourself! I love how I can mix this nice (perfect for a dressy occasion) Maggy London dress with sporty pieces for a casual day on the go!
What are your mama tips for staying sane, worrying less and finding those sweet moments in the everyday?
