Mama/Daughter Style Series: NYE Outfits + $200 Kendra Scott GIVEAWAY!
What do you guys do for NYE these days? If you have kids, do you get a babysitter and head out, or do you stay home (and if you don't have kids... ah, make me jealous with your fabulous plans!)? Five years ago, I was getting my outfit squared away, checking our reservations for various clubs or restaurants and stocking up on champagne for the limo! No way would I be able to hang with those plans these days.
But whatever you are doing or if simply looking for new pieces for your 2016 closet, Nora and I love Garnet Hill for comfy casual to dressed up pieces (see how we last wore Garnet Hill pieces here)! Both Nora's dress and my skirt here are from there and are fancy enough to go out in or comfy enough to have our own party at home in!
And that's what we'll be doing... since becoming a mama 4 years ago, we've stayed in and just hung out on NYE. Sometimes we have friends over for an early dinner (or go to a friends), but regardless, it's all pretty casual. But I still like to get a little dressed up for the special day - and this year, we're going to be celebrating NOON Year's Eve (HAHAH, my 20-year-old self is rolling her eyes so much at me right now) with friends and the littles. So we're planning out our looks, buying our $10 tickets and stocking up on juice boxes now.
