The one place I'll stray from online shopping to the physical locations this time of year is The Country Club Plaza. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year everywhere, but especially on The Plaza! The lights, the decor, the festive windows, the holiday sales & deals and happy crowds will make you feel merry no matter how your day has gone.
Plus, shopping for gifts is all the more fun following a lunch out with girlfriends, or prior to a date with your significant other. Maybe after a full afternoon of shopping, you could rest your feet while seeing a movie, or grabbing drinks! I recently went to the Melting Pot with friends - and it is the perfect, warm and cozy location for an interactive meal or dessert (we did cheese & chocolate - yum!).
The Plaza has everything on your gift list and more - I had fun shopping for those on my list, and collected some ideas for you! From men, to moms, to cooks to style mavens - The Plaza has it all.

The first stop you could quite possibly make to check off many people from your list is West Elm. They have something for everyone, and I especially like that they have quite a few pieces by local artists and designers, too!
{Tammy Smith Design's KC art (she has other cities, too) and Plaza holiday cards are spot on, Axel Co makes amazing wooden pieces & Ampersand Design Studio !
Nearby, you can get anything for your favorite fashionista or dapper man at Banana Republic. Everything there is so good right now, you guys, but I find getting accessories easier for gifts if you don't know the persons exact size. ;)
And something extra special for the man in your life (and isn't that what the holidays are all about?) - visit The Art of Shaving! I could have stayed in this store all day, for the smell was amazing - as were the gift possibilities and special deals.
And for the cook in your life... or the foodie, the grill master or the newly weds learning it all, Sur La Table will provide endless options!

And then for everything in between or anyone on your list, there is the super thoughtful store, HMK. I love this little store packed with goodness. Personalized, unique and thoughtful gifts are their specialty!

And then something truly decadent - head to
Panache Chocolatier & Cafe for the perfect teacher, co-worker, hostess or really, anyone gift: Choco Poppo!! They have also have boxes of their amazing assortment of chocolates and other special treats - all made right there, so this yummy gift is one of a kind!
