Favorite Wears: Customized Jewelry from the Color Bar!
One of my favorite pattern mixtures for all seasons of all time... floral and stripe! It's a classic, it's so easy and it's eye catching! And if you're new to pattern mixing, this is a great combo to start with - and it helps to wear a solid jacket, vest or cardigan (like I'm doing here!).
I last wore this vest for a more casual weekend look (see it here!), and it's also perfect for work - or a more dressed up look like this one. It's so well made, the vest will last me a lifetime, so I'm sure you'll see it a third and many more times, too. ;)
And another favorite thing as of late - my custom jewelry I made at the Kendra Scott Color Bar last month (see that full post here!). Lately, I have been really into pieces that can go with almost anything - sometimes wearing the same earrings in a row for weeks! So I chose to make coordinating earrings and a ring that mixed slate gray and gold. I love them, to say the least. And if you're local to Kansas City - the new Kendra Scott at Country Club Plaza will celebrate its Grand Opening on Thursday, October 15, from 6-9pm!
On this special night, guests will enjoy small bites from Gram & Dun and Republica, sweets from Smallcakes: A Cupcakery and Panache, speciality sips, live music, one-of-a-kind party favors, and shop the brand new winter collection, "Mirror, Mirror," all while Kendra Scott pledges to donate 20% of store sales back to Variety Children's Charity of Greater Kansas City! I hope you can make it out - it's for a great cause, and you'll be able to check out that color bar and interactive screen!
