Mama/Daughter Style Series: Summer Pieces, Fall Ready
The time between summer and fall is a fun challenge for me - it's still warm, but cute, new fall clothes cover every store! I'm not ready for summer to be over, but I'm so ready to wear fall clothes (layers!). So, I start to incorporate fall-like touches to my summer outfits to get a little taste of each season, gravitating towards simply layers, deeper colors richer patterns. Shabby Apple has tons of those perfect pieces (gorgeous dresses!) that you can wear now and far into fall.
And even though Nora is wearing a summer dress - I love that the floral print is deep enough to transition into fall with proper layers (like a denim jacket atop?!) and the mix of this pineapple print head wrap makes her look all the more fun. And the addition of her snacks were just quite mandatory to get her to hold still long enough for a photo.
