Last week, a few girlfriends and I got together at my home, after our kids when to sleep (and with one sweet baby joining us), for a night in to have a late dinner and some wine - picnic style. We played the finale of the Real Housewives of New York (I know, I know...), and it took us about 2.5 hours to get through the one hour episode because we took so much time to catch up, gab and hold little baby Lu (my friend's 10 week old who slept most the night).
To prepare for the night, I wanted a relaxed, yet vibrant and fun feel - so we turned my family room into an indoor picnic with floor pillows, blankets and trays of light dinner type nibbles. And what girl's night is complete without wine? I was really excited to try Caposaldo Wines - the Pinot Grigio and Prosecco varieties sounds great to me during these warmer months.
