Favorite Wears: Mixing Summer & Fall Pieces
Don't you hate that the one thing that people can always talk about is the weather? Whether you're just meeting someone or whether you are filling an awkward silence, it always the go-to topic. It just seems so superficial. But you guys, this week's weather in Kansas City was a little slice of heaven. I'm talking mid to upper 70-degree evenings, perfect for walks outside with the littles and even a jog or two.
And even better than that... the hint of fall. Not to rush summer (because I'm not ready for it to end yet by any means), but when it comes to fashion, the fall season is my favorite season to get dressed for. Layers are my favorite styling pieces - and I love marrying the two seasons in the in-between, like mixing this bright floral top with a rugged camo jacket, for example.
Pieces that transcend seasons are worth the investment, especially in prints and patterns that have come back season after season (or that you just happen to love!).
