Raise a Hand // Toddler Style in Support of Teachers
One of my favorite ways to shop for myself and my family is via online resellers. It's also a great way to sell your gently used clothing and either make some extra bucks or get even more in credit to shop new-to-you pieces. I even find completely new (with tags on!) pieces all the time from some of my favorite brands, like J.Crew and Gap! thredUp takes care of my whole family - cute clothes for all (and my husband is happy about the little I spend doing it because prices are up to 90% off retail).
Well I am just so in love with their latest partnership and campaign, that I had to share - you'll love it, too! thredUP.com has partnered with AdoptAClassroom.org to recognize and thank teachers for their hard work and the positive impact they make each day on our children’s lives. Teachers are SO important - my kids aren't even 5 yet, and we appreciate their caregivers and teachers so much already.
According to AdoptAClassroom.org, teachers spend an average of $500 of their own money each year to equip their classrooms. 70% of teachers have even purchased apparel items like jackets, socks and shoes for their students. So here's where YOU (yes, you) come in - nominate your favorite teacher between July 15th (today!) and August 23rd. Three teachers each win $2,500 for classroom supplies and $500 to thredUP. 50 runner-up winners receive $100 to thredUP. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, September 8th!

P.S. Want to know who we're raising our hands for??
We nominated my amazing friend, Mrs. Kelley from Pembroke Hill School. She is seriously the child whisperer, and while my kids aren't school age yet - she is well known around Kansas City, spends quality time with my own littles and educates and empowers me as a mama (which is great, because I don't always know what I'm doing).
Now you go nominate your favorite teacher!
And come back here tomorrow to see more thredUp looks on my kids and me! :)
This post is in partnership with thredUp.com, but all styling and opinions are my own! Thanks for supporting the brands that support small businesses like this blog!
