Favorite Wears: Long White Maxi Dress
So summer came late, but it came and it came in hot. Last week we had 7 straight days of upper 90s. One day I was leaving work and my car read that it was 108 degrees! I know there are hotter places - but if you've ever heard that the midwest is humid (vs. dry heat), it's true - and it makes it feel even hotter. I have to alter my style for this weather and concentrate on cook materials, flowy pieces and accessories that provide shade.
Here is my hot & humid style - and this long linen dress is perfection on one of those days. The linen completely breaths and the fit is loose and airy.
