Favorite Wears: Dressing Neutral for Overcast Weather
During the iffy-weathered months that is Spring in the Midwest, I stick to light layers and go back and forth between neutrals and brights. My outfit creativity can be really dependent on the sun, I'm finding. So on this particular day, it was overcast and a bit chillier - and thus the perfect day for neutrals and this light top with side-slits! It is a really casual look and airy, allowing to flow easier with whatever the weather brings that day (or how warm it might end up getting).
Plus, a simple top like this, allows for a bit more layered necklaces and a bold lip! Accessorizing can turn any ol' outfit into a put together look. And heels, they help, too! I haven't been a big fan of heels lately, too uncomfortable after just a little walking and standing. But block heels are my new best friend.
Does the weather play a part in determining your outfit or style?
