Favorite Wears: Holiday Travel to Holiday Cocktail Party
Tis the season to be dashing through the snow and traveling over this hill to Grandmother's house, and all that such. With no extra time on my hands, I'm buying and wearing pieces I can do it all in and transform easily. That's my thing, ya know... versatile pieces that transform from thing to thing (whatever that may be at that time!).
I love this plaid dress (that is so inexpensive!), and feel festive just wearing it alone. Because it's so comfy, it's a great piece to travel in (layered with other comfy pieces for warmth). But it also dresses up just perfectly for holiday gatherings, cocktail parties or dinners out with loved ones. I dressed it up (which you can see the full transformation below) with a statement necklace, faux-fur and heels. That's all it took!
I kept my pearl earrings in for both looks, which is another thing that can transform from look to look. I typically like to pair pearls with something more edgy to combat the "June Cleaver" look and feel, but they are a piece of jewelry every woman should own!
See the full looks below! And comment with a way you are making the most of holiday wears this season!
