One of my favorite things about this blogging world is the opportunity it has given me to meet other creative folks in the Kansas City area and beyond. I feel so fortunate to have made an abundance of creative friends offline, that I would have never met without this little online space (which is kind of ironic). That alone has made the effort poured towards this blog so worth it!
Two of those friends are Morgan and Carrie of Ampersand Design Studio, a household name when it comes to design for home, fabric, collaborations with globally known companies and more! I own several of their prints, and was so honored when they gifted me this locally-made, one-of-a-kind tote; a new product to their fantastic shop.
I immediately threw all of my stuff in - purse items, kids' needs, work materials - and have carried it around since (if only I had time to get myself to the pool before it's too late, this tote would be great for that, too). You guys, these totes are handwritten and painted, and are adorned with handmade tassels. And for all of you in the Kansas City area, you can find this tote (and some other awesome Kansas City-made products) at the new West Elm that opened up on the Plaza today!
