We've just about lived in our home for 5 years... and until a month ago, we did not have a patio! Our back step just descended into grass and our backyard was mainly used by our dog. Well, now that we have a patio (and have had fun starting to decorate it), we are spending a TON of time out back (still working on "decorating" it) and I don't know how we ever spent a past summer without it.
This summer, it's totally all about spending time together as a family outside, grilling out, giving Liam free reign to run around, kicking the soccer ball, playing baseball, eating, and relaxing! Grilling out has a whole new meaning to me now... it's the easiest way to make dinner when you have active kids around! And since I've been pretty crazy with work, I can even multi-task some (when necessary), and get some work done on my laptop... all outside! I love it! And with all the craziness of life right now, I'm sure glad there are Lipton K-Cups. With my Keurig I am able, with a push of two buttons, to freshly brew just enough tea to pour over ice to sip during it all.
So, when I think of this summer ahead, I am looking forward to relaxing at home on our new patio, lots of easy dinners including yummy corn on the cob (my fav!), and big glasses of iced tea on hot days (or any day).

{Corn is probably the EASIEST thing to grill - we don't use foil, we don't spray it down with anything... literally just throw it on the grill and roll it to the other side half way for about 7 minutes on each side. Then I use a little spray butter after, but you really don't need it!}
{So easy to get a glass of iced tea with Lipton K-Cups for my Keurig exactly when I want it... no waiting hours (a day?) to brew it! There are 5 flavors even and my absolute, like I could drink it all day, favorite is Iced Tea Lemonade.}
