Greek Yogurt Hack: Strawberry Shortcake
If you've been following along the last few months, you've seen a few of my greek yogurt creations. I'm quite obsessed with the food right now, as it is one of the few things that really fills me up and while it's a protein-packed food, it can easily be turned into a healthy dessert option.
So, this round is a great knock-off of strawberry shortcake, perfect for summer! All you need is probably ingredients you already have:
Greek yogurt of your choice - I recently got a CostCo amount of plaid Fage, which is perfect, I used about a 1/2 cup.
Strawberries, about 3-4 depending on size
Graham Crackers (borrowed a couple from Liam's snack stash)
1 TBLS of dark chocolate chips
^^ Chop up your strawberries, break up your crackers and I even chop up the choco chips a bit so they go a little further (or mini dark chocolate chips would be good here, too, but I can never find the minis).^^
^^Fold in your chopped up strawberries.^^
^^Add in your chocolate.^^
^^Top with your graham's (or in my case, Liam's graham's) - you can mix it or leave as the top, however you like it!^^
And there you have it, a delicious, filling and summery treat.
So my other easy, greek yogurt hacks here.
