Hope you all had a beautiful weekend, whether you celebrated Easter or not. We had 3 amazing weather days... in a straight row! I actually think I got a sunburn (bring it!). We played in the backyard, went on walks, grilled out, did a little shopping (for a baby sun hat - score.) and then spent Sunday digging through lots of Easter baskets, playing with new toys and spending time with lots of family! Whew! I wish I had another Sunday to clean up a little - or take a nap.
{Our little family after Sunday morning - er, mid-day - mass. Liam being Liam - such a goofy boy these days, has us laughing and stumped most the time wearing
a shirt given to us by Cherokee for Target & we love how soft it is! More outfit details at the bottom of this post!}
I look forward to having a little more fun with our Easter mornings as the kids get a bit older (probably starting next year for Liam) and I'm a little more rested by leaving little bunny prints and half eaten carrots out. I'm still looking for the perfect Easter baskets, but this year it was still so fun to live out Easter morning through Liam's eyes. He didn't really understand why he was getting an basket full of goodies, but he loved digging through his, and helping Nora with hers - the boy will take a present anytime, anywhere, no matter the reason.
Here is a look at our Easter, including our Easter basket goodies!
{Liam's Easter basket was overflowing with goodies from his Aunties (Alli & Diana!), Cherokee clothes (our fav!), beautifully handmade wood vehicles by
Bannor Toys and a new cup with fun straw!}
{oh and whiffle balls, too! Which we will immediately be banning to the outdoors...}
{Liam hasn't met a car/truck he doesn't like - but these
handmade wooden cars are little pieces of art! Beautifully made! We were off to rolling these around our kitchen before he lined them up and told me they were "parked."}
{It was sweet baby girl's first Easter and her aunt Diana found this perfect book! Plus we love the herd of bunnies we now have - all different and sweet in their own ways. No girl-basket is complete with out a cute new outfit c/o
Cherokee and a dash of leopard print, right? And Nora was also lucky to receive a wonderfully
handcrafted wooden rattle that she immediately took drooling all over - perfect!}
{Liam got some new duds, too, of course. He still lets me dress him, thank goodness! All by Cherokee.}
The rest of the day was pretty fantastic, too... complete with MORE Easter baskets from Mimi & Papa (Liam got a Curious George stuffed animal (!!!) and a book, and both got adorable clothes), an Easter Egg hunt and lots of yummy good!
{Pretty proud of his findings... ^}
