Navy & Yellow Wedding Bliss

Last weekend was one of my good friend's wedding in Omaha! It was a fun filled weekend, culminating in a beautiful event that totally reflected the personalities of this two love birds. I was honored to be a bridesmaid, where we all wore navy dresses and yellow shoes!  I loved the color combo and the bride carried it beautifully throughout the ceremony & reception decor.  Here are a few shots from the big event...

Bridesmaids all picked our own navy dress (I wore this one, some of the other girls' dresses: strapless ruche dress, strapless chiffon dress) and the bride provided the mustard yellow pumps from Urban Outfitters (same style, same yellow w/ lower heel, exact pair discontinued, similar).  We got to pick how we had our hair done, it just had to be up.

I loved how she carried the yellow and navy into the reception, and of course the candy bar was a huge hit!

 There first dance was like nothing I've seen before. Major creativity and totally surprising!  Let's just say... it was a little reenactment from a little fairy tale involving a very sleepy girl and a Prince. I'm sure a video will pop up at some point! :)
