I showed you how I tame my wild, frizzy, strangely curly hair into soft, controlled waves, now here is how I get straight hair! And I did it so much faster than usual, thanks to a brand new hair dryer from HANAair Professional!
1. I first work John Frieda Frizz-Ease Straight Fixation Smoothing Creme through my hair and brush my hair smooth. I think you're not suppose to brush wet hair, technically, but I do...
2. Then I twist up about 2/3s of my hair on top of my head and first concentrate on the first layer with my brand new HANAair Professional Hair Dryer. The nice people at Missiko sent me this and I'm in love with it. I usually avoid drying my hair because it takes so long, but this took half the time.
3. I use a round brush to pull my hair straight while I blow dry the bottom section first. I dry about 2-3 inches of hair at a time.
4. Once a layer is dry, I put on Bed Head Some Like It Hot Serum (like I use on my wavy hair), then I tie the dry hair back into a low pony tail. Repeat on the other sections of hair.
5. The last section (top 1/3 layer of hair), I make my part before drying.
6. Once my hair is all dray, I let it all loose and give it one more blow dry with the round brush to mix all the sections together.
7. Once my hair is blown dry, I give it a few minutes and then twist up 2/3s of my hair again to use the straigh iron section by section of hair.
8. I use the straight iron to straighten a bit more and tada, straight hair.
Big thanks to HANAair Professional Hair Dryer for a quick blow out!

Meggy
