You know it's colder when the cords come out...

I usually break out my boots way too early (b/c I love them and get so excited to where them), when it's still 70s-80s and sunny out.  I even start wearing my lighter jackets to work in the mornings, even though I really don't need them.  I start eying all my tights, getting close to pulling those on under my skirts. But I usually wait to wear my cordoroy's until it really is time - cool weather, leaves on the ground and my nose feeling the chill after being outside for more than a few minutes...

Well....the leaves have fallen, and there is a chill in the air. 

 

It was time to bring at the cords from storage... J.Crew burnt orange cords, sequin stripe top & gray cardi with leopard flats from Marshals.  Happy Fall.
